Still Not Enough Time, But Doin' Better

Well, I dropped my History of the Balkans class. I decided that, of all my classes--which all, at different points, require alot of work--that was the one I could spare. It was an elective in my History minor. So, I dropped it. I was so nervous! You have to go to the instructor of the class directly and first to get their signature before you can drop it. I had to get up at 8am Thursday, walk across campus, and wait outside his door until he showed up. My mouth and throat were dry and that + nervousness = nearly throwing up. I gagged three times on my way over. I think I may have anxiety issues. Which would be my luck. However, the professor was really cool about it. He totally understood. I relaxed a great deal after that. The W period doesn't end here until Oct. 20, so I got no hassle from the Registar's Office either. Big load off my shoulders. Plus, more free time to do other things (i.e. other classwork, Halloween Party work, sleeping, and various other fun things).

My classes have sort of given me a break this weekend. The only thing due in Monday is some critiques on poems (btw, this monday is the first time my poems are going to be critiqued. Wish me luck! I'm so scared that no one is going to like them!) and my take home test (nope, still not done. However, the teacher is really lax on deadlines, so that's a plus.) Tuesday I have a US History I test, but I couldn't be less worried about that thing. It's mostly multiple choice and it's a sophomore/freshman level class. Plus he gave us a "terms to study" sheet. Sheesh. There's a huge part of me that loves that class as well as hates it. Well, dislike. Can't hate a class that easy.

So, what am I doing this weekend? Well, tonight I making myself some BBQ chicken pizza (let's hope that turns out well), FINALLY finishing up those invites, making so many lists it's not even funny, writing (for me!), printing out those poems for CW (which I may or may not critique tonight), cleaning the room, and watching SGA at 9pm. And then I'm going to bed early (earlier than I usually do) to get up at 6:30 to go with Preston to get my hair cut. Then I'm going to do my normal Sunday routine. Which I'll spare you.

Well, I'm off. This blog is actually on my list of things to do tonight, so check that off! Go me! I feel so accomplished (not really)! Love to all!
