Invitations Go Out on Monday!!

FINALLY I got everything sized and cut properly for my Halloween Party invitations! I printed off 20 and have used all but 3. I bought a book of stamps about 2 weeks ago, and I'm buying printable address labels tomorrow when I grocery shopping. I'm on a roll! Not to mention I finally got done the list of all the ingredients I'll need for the party. I'm getting there.

I still haven't ordered my dress. I need to know my size...and I'm not sure. I could go ahead and order the rest of it (it's one size fits all), but that'll cost me more in shipping when it all comes down to it. I'm going to try and stop by the mall tomorrow to see if I can skip shipping altogether on some of the stuff. I know what my outfit will look like...now I need to figure out what my mask will look like. I should try to look up some masks on Google or something. And I need shoes. I own, like, 7 or 8 different boots, but I'm know sure if I want to wear any of them. Hmmm....decisions.

Well, I'm off. See you!

Still Not Enough Time, But Doin' Better

Well, I dropped my History of the Balkans class. I decided that, of all my classes--which all, at different points, require alot of work--that was the one I could spare. It was an elective in my History minor. So, I dropped it. I was so nervous! You have to go to the instructor of the class directly and first to get their signature before you can drop it. I had to get up at 8am Thursday, walk across campus, and wait outside his door until he showed up. My mouth and throat were dry and that + nervousness = nearly throwing up. I gagged three times on my way over. I think I may have anxiety issues. Which would be my luck. However, the professor was really cool about it. He totally understood. I relaxed a great deal after that. The W period doesn't end here until Oct. 20, so I got no hassle from the Registar's Office either. Big load off my shoulders. Plus, more free time to do other things (i.e. other classwork, Halloween Party work, sleeping, and various other fun things).

My classes have sort of given me a break this weekend. The only thing due in Monday is some critiques on poems (btw, this monday is the first time my poems are going to be critiqued. Wish me luck! I'm so scared that no one is going to like them!) and my take home test (nope, still not done. However, the teacher is really lax on deadlines, so that's a plus.) Tuesday I have a US History I test, but I couldn't be less worried about that thing. It's mostly multiple choice and it's a sophomore/freshman level class. Plus he gave us a "terms to study" sheet. Sheesh. There's a huge part of me that loves that class as well as hates it. Well, dislike. Can't hate a class that easy.

So, what am I doing this weekend? Well, tonight I making myself some BBQ chicken pizza (let's hope that turns out well), FINALLY finishing up those invites, making so many lists it's not even funny, writing (for me!), printing out those poems for CW (which I may or may not critique tonight), cleaning the room, and watching SGA at 9pm. And then I'm going to bed early (earlier than I usually do) to get up at 6:30 to go with Preston to get my hair cut. Then I'm going to do my normal Sunday routine. Which I'll spare you.

Well, I'm off. This blog is actually on my list of things to do tonight, so check that off! Go me! I feel so accomplished (not really)! Love to all!

So Much to Do And Never Enough Time

Isn't that the truth? I've got to put up at least three poems (well, two, at least, but I'm aiming for three) for my Creative Writing class. I think I'm putting up a revised version of my very first poem. I've got a 5-7 page paper due for History of Balkans and the exam the following week in that class is three identifies (a paragraph each) and an essay. I've got a quiz tomorrow in Chaucer. I've got to have poems critiqued for CW class by tomorrow. I've got a Linguists test I haven't finished yet (it's a take-home test). About the only class I'm not really worried about is American History I. So, how much of this have I got finished? Zlich. Nada. Nothing. The Big Zip.

Also, I've still got to print and send the invatiations to my Halloween Party, order my costume, finish shopping for the decorations, make a list of all the need ingrediants for the foodstuffs, shop for the foodstuffs, make the foodstuffs, make sure I get all the RSVPs in time, finish setting up the games, and I'm sure many more things. How much of this have I got finished? See answer above.

And I don't even want to get into my Xmas shopping. Nope. Not going there.

So, what am I going to do right this moment in time? I'll tell you. I'm going to take my happy ass over and post on Girls' Night Out, an RPG I'm playing on.

Speaking of that, there is this noob that has been posting....HORRIBLY INCORRECTLY on that RPG. He hasn't read the rules, he hasn't done what's been asked of him, hasn't even responded to my OOC comments directed towards him. People, I'm the Adminstrator of the forum that Girls Night is in. Yeah. He deliberate ingorned the admin. So I banned him. My fellow RPGers were so happy, they were making plans to back me up if he intended to start flaming me. They hated this kid just as much as I do. One RPGer actually printed out the OOC that I wrote that told him of his current banned status and duct taped it to my dorm door. It's still there. I'm proud of it. Now, I'm justing waiting for his response. Well, actually, I'm gonna go post. See you!
